| It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Randy Greene, a beloved leader, mentor, and friend. Randy served as Department of Ohio Sons of AMVETS Commander from 1993 to 1995 and continued his service as National Sons of AMVETS Commander in 1995-1996. |

Commander Owen Jackson's national project
Commander Owen Jackson and the National Sons of AMVETS (American Veterans) are raising funds to renovate the AMVETS Family Service Center. This 35,000 square foot facility will provide housing and important services for veterans and their families experiencing homeless. |

As of 3/16/2026 our membership number for the 2026 membership year are at 92.5% of 2025. Please include your email on your when you renew your membership. We currently have email address for 4,461 active members. This is about 20% of the total membership. As we expand the system, some functions will depend upon email communications.
