New Year Message

Sons of AMVETS, AMVET Family

As this year comes to an end and a new one is about to start, I would like to thank you all for being part of the AMVET Family. You all have allowed me to be part of this marvelous family at such a high level.

The Sons of AMVETS, during my tenure this past year, started off with an advance in membership; an exceptional way to start our year and hopefully we will continue this trend.

Moving forward I would like to thank all the Sons of AMVETS for all they do to support our Veterans and Community, also I would thank the AMVETS, Ladies Auxiliary and the remainder of the AMVET Family for all they do to aid and support the Sons of AMVETS and our Veterans; all are doing an outstanding job and for that I thank you all.

It was President Dwight D. Eisenhower who once said at New Year’s speech, “Neither a wise man nor a brave man lies down on the trains of history to wait for the train of the future to run over him”. Therefore, we must charge on forward and accomplish our goals. Thank you all for your work and support during my tenure, I look forward to achieving all our goals before the end of our year.

AMVETS Family, all please be mindful of our troops in all branches of Service who are serving at home and abroad while their families spend the holiday without their presence. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers, especially pray for their safe return into the arms of a thankful Family and Nation.

My Officers and I would wish you all a Happy, Enjoyable and Wonderful New Year. Please enjoy the moment and I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
