Kentucky PDC James A. Grizzle Passes

Fellow Sons, AMVETS family, and friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Department of KY PDC James A. Grizzle. Commander Jim served as the Department of KY Commander for 7 years. He also served as the Department Sons Coordinator.

Commander Jim was a great AMVETS family member and longtime supporter of our mission “Sons Serving Veterans”. His leadership, by example, served as an inspiration for the Sons in Kentucky and across the nation. As a result of his commitment and dedication, he was the recipient of the prestigious National Sons Aid and Support Award in 2018.

On behalf of all officers and members of Sons of AMVETS nationwide, I would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the entire Grizzle family and Jim’s friends. May the Lord provide you with comforting grace in this time of sorrow.
