It is with a heavy heart to inform the membership of the passing of AMVETS Past National Commander Marion Polk on December 6, 2021. On behalf of our membership nationwide, I extend our most heartfelt condolences to his wife Beverly and the entire Polk family. Our prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
Commander Polk was an ardent advocate of Sons of AMVETS. His leadership, loyalty, and commitment to his comrades and the entire AMVETS family served as an inspiration to our organization. R.I.P. Commander. You will be missed.
