DIRECT to VET Mobility Assistance Continues in Florida

Veteran Dan Gsell Sr. and member of Post 47 in Panama City Beach, FL is the most recent Veteran to receive mobility assistance through the Sons of AMVETS Department of Florida DIRECT to VET Scooter Program. Dan had a leg amputated, is recovering from a recent stroke, and deals with vison difficulties. Department of Florida Commander's Aide in the panhandle and Squadron 78 Commander Michael Dunne coordinated the effort to get a scooter to help Dan in his daily activities. The presentation was the 12th scooter/wheelchair provided to Veterans in Florida this year.
