Sons of AMVETS Advocate Tim Tuttle Passes Away

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of AMVETS family member Tim Tuttle from Indiana Post 12. Tim was a US Army Veteran who served in Korea. He continued to serve his country by being an active AMVETS member and held many leadership positions.

The Sons will remember Tim as an outstanding advocate for the Sons of AMVETS in Indiana and nationwide. In 2012 Tim’s hard work, assistance to our organization, and proactive approach to serve veterans were key elements in his selection as the recipient of the National Sons of AMVETS highest individual honor, the Aid & Support Award. We will be forever indebted to Tim for his service.

On behalf of all officers and members of the Sons of AMVETS across the country I extend our condolences to Tim’s family and friends. Our prayers are with you during the most difficult time.
