SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM COMMANDER THIBODEAU

As Richard Thibodeau winds down his 2nd year as Sons of AMVETS National Commander, he would like to extend his most heartfelt THANKS for everyone's support for his project to aid Help Heal Veterans. 
Help Heal Veterans' mission is to support the healing and enrich the lives of veterans and military personnel. Healing arts and crafts provide a therapeutic experience for all veterans including those who are hospitalized, in shelters, in convalescent homes and those undergoing therapy for a wide range of physical and mental challenges. The kits, provided free of charge to the veteran, become a part of the patient's treatment plan, giving them a creative outlet along with tangible therapeutic and rehabilitation benefits. 
Since inception, Help Heal Veterans has delivered nearly 31 million arts and crafts kits to veterans and veteran facilities nationwide, along with active-duty military overseas. Kits range in categories including woodworking, leather, models, and a variety of needlecrafts, paint-by-numbers and many others. You may visit www.healvets.org to learn more.
