"Good morning AMVETS family,

One of the concerns that was raised most often during National Convention in our legislative meetings was the need to send updates and additional information.

We heard you loud and clear!

Under the leadership of Joe Chenelly and Sherman Gillums, we have created an update that we will be sending on weeks that Congress is in session. The intent of this update is to provide you up to date information on the happenings on Capitol Hill, key bills that we are working on, key events, meetings that we have conducted and can use local follow-up on, and additional news items that may be of interest to you.

We hope that you find this to be informative and helpful as you continue to do the great work you do at the local level.

First things first, please reach out to your local representatives and ask them to support the bills that we have listed under AMVETS Legislative Priorities!
