All Sons of AMVETS forms listed on this page are available in both Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF formats.  If you save the form on your computer, make sure you periodically check back to ensure the form has not changed.  Many forms were updated at the 2012 National Convention. The main change to most of the forms was the addition of an email addresses field.

The logos images are available in either a jpeg or gif format.  

You have at least five options to manually complete each form.  The first four require you to download the form to your computer. 

  1. If you have Microsoft Word, you can enter the data directly onto the Word documents save it, and print the completed form.
  2. If you do not have Microsoft Word on your computer, you can download Microsoft Word Viewer. The viewer will only allow you to display and print the form.  It will not allow you to fill out the form.
  3. Another option you have is you can download the pdf version of the files and Adobe Reader.  You can now use Adobe Reader to enter data onto a pdf form and save the completed form under a name of your choice.
  4. Print the form and complete the form by hand.

"Fill in the blanks forms" or Interactive Forms

We have recently introduce "fill in the blank forms" or "interactive forms"to our site.  You can now use our new interactive forms and Adobe Reader XI to electronically complete and the form. You can now have an electronic history of all the forms you have submitted to the Department or National.  So the question is, which forms are interactive?   If you look at the below list, any form that has pfd (ia) means that form is interactive.
