Commander Owen Jackson's national project

Commander Owen Jackson and the National Sons of AMVETS (American Veterans) are raising funds to renovate the AMVETS Family Service Center.  This 35,000 square foot facility will provide housing and important services for veterans and their families experiencing homeless.  The vast majority of transnational housing segregate by gender, often separating Sons and mothers, daughters and fathers, husbands and wives. 

AMVETS Charities will provide housing for the Veteran and his or her family, safely keeping them together.  Outcomes are much better when families are able to stay together.
